Created for consumers making personalized fragrances, DIY perfume makers, independent perfumers, cosmetic formulators and small fragrance businesses, this oil-soluble composition provides a complete gentle floral alpine forest scent rather than a simple, single-note fragrance oil.

Jasmine forms the predominant floral note, surrounded by cool cyclamen, airy lily, soft muguet, pale peony and gentle alpine blossoms. Silver-green evergreen air, mountain mist, pale cedarwood, cool mineral woods and transparent musk give the luminous floral heart a crisp, atmospheric structure.

Glacier Veil™ is cool and misty, but it is not designed as a marine or oceanic fragrance. Its freshness suggests mountain fog, chilled flowers, evergreen air and mineral woods rather than seawater, salt, tropical rain or conventional aquatic cologne.

The concentrate is oil-soluble and has been tested in oil-based formulations. It may be incorporated into a compatible, nearly odorless carrier oil to create personalized perfume oils, cologne oils, roll-on fragrances and related oil-based fragrance products.

Begin with a small, accurately measured test batch. Record the concentrate and carrier percentages, blend thoroughly, allow the composition to rest and evaluate its aroma, clarity, solubility, skin feel, stability and packaging performance.

Solid Perfume, Solid Cologne and Fragrance Balm

Glacier Veil™ may be incorporated into compatible solid perfume, solid cologne and fragrance-balm bases. Evaluate the concentrate with the intended oils, waxes, butters and packaging before proceeding to larger production.

Alcohol and Other Formulation Systems

This perfume concentrate is not soluble in water-based products. Solubility and compatibility in alcohol-based products, emulsions, soaps, candles, diffusers and other formulation systems have not been established.

When incorporating it into a cream, lotion or other oil-containing emulsion, add it to the oil phase or during cool-down, as appropriate for the formulation, and mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Do not heat this product above 65°C (149°F).

Makers considering these applications should prepare a small trial batch to evaluate compatibility, dispersion, clarity, aroma, stability and finished-product performance.

Glacier Veil™ is a concentrated aromatic composition intended for further formulation. Incorporate it into a suitable fragrance base at a level appropriate for the intended finished product.

As with other concentrated fragrance materials, avoid direct contact with eyes and sensitive areas. Keep the container securely closed and out of reach of children and pets.
